Descrizione committente/progetto: Request for a TEM Duration: 12+ months, potentially part-time Location: Northern Italy The Client is an international industrial group (over €200M in revenue) specializing in the production of consumables for surface treatment of materials such as ceramics, natural and engineered stone, glass, and technical materials. The company has grown both organically and through acquisitions, supported by private equity. Production is primarily in Italy, with operational and commercial presence in the US, Brazil, Spain, Russia, and other markets. Today the majority is owned by a private equity firm. The Group is matrix structured with different commercial BUs (ceramics, stone, glass, etc.) and support functions (finance, IT, R&D, operations, etc.). The ceramics BU represents a big portion of all revenue, but despite often being the market leader (30-70% SoM depending on region), has faced slowdown as the addressable market has been shrinking (less tiles need polishing nowadays). The company is undergoing a significant organizational transformation. Its business model and commercial approach with focus on the ceramic business need to be transformed. We work with the Client at two levels: – with an interim manager with the objective to lead the transformation of the global ceramics sales model, acting as a driver of change for tools, processes, commercial approach, and mindset. – with a TEM to support the development of new markets (e.g., India, Indonesia, China)
